Extra-curricular

All pupils at Norham are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activity work. There is a large and exciting programme with a variety of regular activities on offer to students. The choice and diversity is enhanced by special events.

The opportunities and challenges include: courses in Arts, an annual Drama production, ‘Apps for good’ computer club, Dance and cheerleading, the Science club, STEM related activities, Music activities, Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme and many others.

Sports activities on offer include; Football, Rugby, Netball, Basketball, Trampolining, Tennis, Athletics and many others. Norham has well developed links with Tynemouth United FC who play their fixtures at Norham and Rockcliffe Rugby Club who provide support for our budding Rugby Union stars.

Pupils have the opportunity to participate in an exciting range of trips and visits which includes the annual Drama visit to London and skiing trips abroad. There is also an opportunity for GCSE Geography pupils to spend some time at High Borrans field centre at Windermere in the Lake District.
