World Restart a Heart day. Tuesday 16th October 2018 2-2:45pm
Adult session
Dear Parent / Carer

On Tuesday 16th October, The British Heart Foundation is holding its annual ‘Restart your Heart’ event. It is hoped that as many people as possible, during the day, will learn how to perform CPR and the skills necessary to help save someone’s life.

Norham High School, is committed to this event and we will be delivering training to all pupils who attend their PE lessons that day. We are also setting up an after school club on Fridays to target other pupils and develop further first aid techniques.

In the UK too many people do not survive cardiac arrest (approximately 90%) as people do not recognise the signs, are scared to perform CPR or unsure how, and aren’t aware that they can use a defibrillator. Norham High School aims to raise awareness and confidence of all our community members so we would like to offer you the opportunity to attend a Restart your Heart session.

We will be to delivering the workshop to 30 participants max. on Tuesday 16th October at 2:00-2:45pm in our school hall. This is open to anybody in the local community, 18 years plus.

If you would like to secure a free place on this session please complete the form below so we can register your attendance or alternatively phone the school office on the above number.

We very much welcome and look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 16th October. Please advise the school if you require assistance to access the building or to attend this training session.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate in contacting me on the above school number or email – melanie.petherbridge@ntlp.org.uk. Thank You.

Mrs M.Petherbridge.
