After being placed first in her Trampolining event at the North Tyneside School Games in October, year 8 pupil Jenna Sams went on to represent North Tyneside at the Tyne and Wear Games.

Jenna was keen and excited before the event and went along with great determination on a wet and windy Saturday afternoon.

She was yet again successful in her bid to be champion and was placed first in the KS3 Girls Novice category.

She will now take on the challenge to win again at the North East finals in the coming weeks.

Head of School Mrs Lucy Roderick said: "We are all so proud of Jenna, it's a fantastic achievement and we will be cheering her on in her quest for more glory at the North East finals."
