Year 7 pupils have been taking part in cycling training as part of a year-long project called GEAReD_Up. The cycling element called Bikeability is run by Sport North Tyneside and has proved a huge success with every pupil in Year 7 taking part. All pupils received either a level 1 or level 2 qualification.
Norham and Churchill pupils have recently taken part in a three session World War 1 project in association with North Tyneside Libraries.
